Active Line Array System

WLA-210A is more than just another dual 10″ active line array system.  It incorporates the latest hardware and software technologies from Wharfedale Pro.

The WLA-210A Array Element features custom phase plugs and the extra-ordinary EVO-Fold waveguide.  Combined, these lead to a huge reduction in the usual phase issues that traditional 2-way line arrays have due to them having the drive units physically some distance apart in the array.

The WLA-210A element features an internal 800 W continuous power amplifier and advanced DSP presets including FIR filters.  These presets make system tuning simple depending on the physical configuration and size of the array.

The matching dual 15″ active subwoofer, WLA-210SUBA, features a 2000 W continuous internal amplifier, custom Wharfedale Pro drivers and powerful internal DSP making this subwoofer the perfect partner for WLA-210A.

Both loudspeakers can be controlled remotely through software which gives GUI control over the DSP parameters of each individual element.

The optional WLA-210X Common Fly Frame completes the system and allows for multiple system configurations.

The WLA-210A system has been designed and engineered in the UK and is targetted at the touring and fixed install sectors.

Phase PLugs

The two crafted phase plugs result in a more consistent frequency response off axis.  

The design is usually unseen behind the grille…..but the impact these have on the system performance is stunning.

EVO-FOLD

The central 3.0″ HF compression driver is directly coupled to our EVO-Fold waveguide. 

EVO-Fold reduces the usual phase issues that traditional 2-way line arrays have due to them having the drive units physically some distance apart in the array. The HF compression driver is loaded to a unique EVO-Fold horn. The EVO-Fold horn combines a unique folded and manifold design. The most advanced FEM technology has been used to create this.

The high-mid energy exits produce a uniphasic sound in the widest range of frequencies. And visually, the detail of the EVO-Fold waveguide is a work of art.

Internal DSP with FIR

Easy to get great results – fast.

For the subwoofers (WLA-210SUBA and WLA-218BA) the AUDIENCE or STAGE presets can be used in an Inverted Stack Gradient array configuration.

Software control

The network connection uses RS485 protocol and gives GUI control over the DSP parameters of each element in the array.

Dual 10"

At the heart of the WLA-210A are 2 x 10″ custom Wharfedale Pro LF drivers.

Designed and Engineered in the UK, they deliver the power to impress.

About the clarity

The HF compression driver delivers additional clarity and performance with enhanced definition.

It is custom made by Wharfedale Pro and is coupled to the EVO-Fold waveguide resulting in 100° x 10° dispersion.

Optional FLY FRAME

Arrays can be assembled using only WLA-210A line array elements or with the WLA-210SUBA Subwoofers at the top of the array.

The WLA-210X Common Fly frame supports up to 12 x WLA-210A elements and a WLA-210SUBA.
