Sound for 800,000 people
We recently created a huge system. A system to support the visit of Pope Francis in East Timor, reaching an audience of 800,000.
Our own Remo Orsoni and Marci Sang-olan travelled to East Timor to work with our local distributor, Hard Rock Lda, and the team from Happy Sound, Indonesia to oversee the massive Wharfedale Pro system which was used during Pope Francis’ visit to the country.
The system used:
- 64 x WLA-312X (8 towers with 8 x WLA-312X each with 1 fly frame)
- 12 x WLA-218BX (Main Left and Right towers in a gradient cardioid arrangement)
- 8 x WLA-15MX for stage, choir and orchestra monitoring
- 24 x DP-4100 power amplifiers for WLA-312X
- 2 x DP-4100 power amplifiers for WLA-15MX
- 4 x DP-4120 power amplifiers for WLA-218BX subwoofers
- 6 x SC-48FIR system controllers.
- 4 x TITAN-AX15 for Piano, organ and Choir side fills.
