The 80 Series is an affordable range of installation speakers perfect for bars, restaurants, karaoke systems and retail areas. We've designed a unique cabinet construction, which enables wide dispersion of audio where placement is often tricky or at a compromise within its surroundings so your music or public announcements can be heard loud and clear.

'Baker Effect' Technology

Traditionally the loudspeaker placement in rooms has been dominated by the needs of stereo reproduction and consequently most positions are a compromise enforced by the directionality of conventional loudspeakers. However, Wharfedale’s innovative solution is to use the ‘Baker Effect’, a phenomenon first noted in the 1930’s. By mounting two hf drive units perpendicular to each other, and carefully contouring the crossover network, Wharfedale has been able to reproduce a dramatic stereo effect in almost any listening position.

U-Type ceiling / wall brackets included

For an easy installation straight out of the box we have included a u shaped mounting bracket. The speakers can be mounted vertically or horizontally as you wish, still covering wide areas. On installation, the inputs are easily located to one side of the unit and the bracket will swivel and extend for optimum positioning.
